Volunteer Opportunities & Events

​

Members of the Harrison Sportsmans Club have access to a wide range of shooting and social facilities that are available for their enjoyment. These facilities are supported and maintained solely through the efforts and contributions of it's members. As a club it is up to the members to maintain our facilities, organize social events, assist with fund raising, and just generally pitch in where needed. Any and all help is needed, and always appreciated. Please look at the upcoming events to see if there are any you would be interested in helping out with. Remember, our club only exists if members volunteer.

  • Halloween - Trunk-or-Treat

    • The Harrison Sportsmans Club Trunk-or-Treat event is getting close. It will be held at the club on Saturday October 24th from 5:00-7:00 PM. In order to make this event successful we need lots of volunteers. Here is a list of what we need help with:

      • Trunk-or-Treat vehicles passing out candy

      • Event setup and cleanup (Decorations, tables, and games, etc)

      • Run the indoor kids games

      • Kitchen help (hot dogs, chips, soft drinks)

      • Photos and judging of the decorated vehicles

    • If you would like to help our club put on a successful Halloween event for the children in our community please contact Renay MacLean at (734) 323-9011.

 

  • Facility workdays

    • General facility maintenance. Cleaning, painting, organizing, etc.

 

 

  • Christmas Party
    • Setup\cleanup for annual Christmas party in our clubhouse

  • Clare County Fair

    • Food wagon, selling raffle tickets

  • Harrison Street Fair

    • Friday August 21 & Saturday August 22 - Selling raffle tickets and handing out club literature.
